The Traveller Review Awards are Booking.com’s biggest annual campaign. Every year, the Awards recognise over a million accommodation Partners all over the world for their exceptional hospitality. The 2024 campaign needed to tell a meaningful story with a holistic look and feel that celebrated the hard work these winning Partners put in behind the scenes.
With the team at RD Content, I pitched a creative built around embracing the vast diversity of what it can mean to be a winner. With different skills and personalities, every partner has a unique way of going above and beyond for their guests. The ‘Wall of Fame’ brings together these diverse individuals, allowing each one to champion the special characteristic that makes them a winner while inviting our audience to step up and take their place among them.
As Lead Designer I oversaw the entire campaign, which included a hero film, three spotlight films, email banners, social posts, landing page design, iconography, web banners, an animated explainer video, and digital OOH - all translated across nine languages.
The campaign celebrated a record 1.48 million winning partners across 221 countries, achieving Booking.com's highest ever partner satisfaction at 93.2%. Award kit downloads increased by 65% compared to last year’s campaign, and the suite of films gained over 470k views. Editorial content amassed over 100k views, a 437% increase on last year. Overall, this year’s Traveller Review Awards campaign was their most successful ever.
